Parsi Dairy Farm on National Highway 48

Parsi Dairy Farm Talasari has become our favorite spot whenever we are traveling to and fro from Mumbai to Gujarat. Located in a lush green land of 350 acres on National Highway 48, Dairyland is famous as a biker’s point. It is also an ideal place for a one-day trip from Mumbai with family and friends. For kids, it’s worth visiting, as the farm features a play area and a shed with cute animals, such as rabbits, birds, and goats.

We chanced upon this place during our first road trip to the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. While returning to Mumbai, just before the Maharashtra – Gujarat border, you’ll notice this huge property. I was surprised to see such a well-planned farm in the middle of nowhere, especially with so many visitors, even during the monsoon. Thereafter, it has become our regular spot whenever we are on NH-48.

What is famous in Parsi Dairy Farm?

“Parsi Dairy Farm is famous for its dairy products, especially pure Desi Ghee. Since my first visit, I have been shopping for Desi Ghee (Cow) and white butter. I have also tried their shrikhand, the kaju katri, and chocolates. I can vouch for the quality of the products, especially Desi Ghee. While I never had a proper meal at Parsi Dairy, as our lunchtime halt is usually at Hotel Ahura Restaurant in Dahanu, just half an hour from Parsi Dairy. But often we have enjoyed our glass of Maharaja lassi and buttermilk. This place is an absolute haven for vegetarian food lovers, especially Parsi cuisine.
